How do you use Fizzion to treat vomit?

Dr. Fizz Says:

Vomit is the easiest to clean when it is dry. Here are a couple of methods to clean vomit that work very well.

If you have to clean up the vomit right away use this method:
APPLYING CLEANER DIRECTLY TO FRESH VOMIT WILL ONLY MAKE IT SPREAD
1)      Clean up all of the loose material with a paper towel.
2)      With a dry paper towel gently blot up what you can. Blot until nothing more comes up.
3)      Using a cotton towel, spray cleaner on the towel and blot. Continue using a clean area of the towel with Fizzion applied and blotting until stain is gone.
4)      Once the stain is gone, spray stain and blot.

Cleaning Vomit after drying.
1)      While stain is wet clean up all of the loose material you can with a paper towel.
2)      With a dry paper towel, blot up all of the vomit you can.
3)      Let stain dry.
4)      Once dry use a plastic utensil to scrape up the vomit stain.
5)      Vacuum area.
6)      Spray any remaining stain with Fizzion and blot with clean cotton towel.

Does Fizzion work well with a carpet extractor?

Dr Fizz Says:

Fizzion works well in combination with a carpet extractor. Here is a method I recommend:

I prefer to use Fizzion in combination with a steam cleaning machine. When cleaning carpets you want to use as little cleaner as possible. Use Fizzion diluted at 2 tablets per 32oz of water to spot the stained areas.

Make another dilution of Fizzion using 1 tablet per gallon of water. I use a garden pump sprayer for this. This dilution should be used to mist all of your heavy traffic areas.

In carpet cleaning machine you can use either straight water or Fizzion diluted at 1 tablet per gallon.

The method above is used by professional carpet cleaners to get your carpet clean using the least amount cleaner possible. Using less cleaner will keep your carpets cleaner longer.

How do you clean urine out of furniture?

Cleaning urine out furniture is very challenging, but it is a struggle we must unfortunately face from time to time.  Fizzion will attack these stains and odors the same way it will on a carpet, but the difficult part is making sure the cleaner gets to all of the urine.

To do this, you may have to treat the area twice to get the cleaner to reach all the urine residue. Dr. Fizz typically doesn’t like spraying furniture with any cleaner, but saturating the furniture is only way to be sure you get the cleaner to the urine.

Another tip is to use a cotton towel to blot the area as cotton is very absorbent and will help to pull out more of the liquid!

What is the best way to prepare the Fizzion solution?

  • Add one Fizzion tablet to every 16 oz. of warm tap water
  • Scrape off loose matter
  • Spray on the stain or dirt surface until wet
  • Blot gently with a clean towel
  • Watch as the stain begins to disappear

How long does Fizzion last once it's activated?

The Fizzion solution maintains maximum potency for up to one year after activation.

What is the difference between Fizzion and Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution?

Nature’s Miracle is an enzymatic solution that can take up to several hours just to activate.  Enzymatic cleaners use a bioprocess to help remove the odor, but because enzymes are so sensitive, strong detergents needed to eliminate the  stain cannot be incorporated because they will deactivate the enzymes so the mess is left half treated.
Simple Solution is an enzymatic solution as well but it also introduces what they call a “good bacteria” into your home that are supposed to speed up the process of breaking down the odor.  The problem is the “good bacteria” are not selective in where they choose to inhabit (meaning that they will not necessarily remain on the stain you put them on).  If not careful, this can cause bacterial colonies in areas that are conducive to their growth around the persons home causing them to begin feeding on other chemicals and creating additional odors around the home.  Finally, because Simple Solution is also enzymatic, the process still can take several minutes or hours to activate and still only half treats the mess.
Fizzion does not use enzymes at all. There is no waiting time whatsoever and the impact Fizzion makes on the stain and odor is instant and permanent.  Fizzion achieves this in three ways: 1. The use of a proprietary blend of cleaners to create an unmatched detergency that removes the two most stubborn components of urine from the material or fabric.   2.  It forms a shield around the stain while it works on it which immediately reduces odors.   3. To prevent the odor from returning, Fizzion's powerful CO2 action makes the normally insoluble uric acid in urine soluble, so that it can be removed from the surface never to return.
